嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス 2008.05.09
Opening
Aibachan created a baseball team called カラーズ and he is the owner of the team! ^^ Actually he created the team thinking of Karasawa D, the director of Shimura Doubutsuen who once came to Aibachan's radio show.
A-1 GP Strongest Competition
Aibachan read 5 mails about the listeners' "strongest" informations.
One of them was telling that at her school there is a "rhythm swimming club" for synchronized swimming, as one of the options of club activity. Then Aibachan told that he started to attend swimming school when he was 3 years old.
Oshiete Aibachan
- A listener asked if the panda plush toy that Aibachan took to play with the panda baby in Shimura Doubutsuen, was the same as the panda that Nino was using as a pillow in Duet May issue. Because for her, they seem to be the same. Aibachan said that he doesn't know, and he also said that it would sound suspicious if he says that he saw Nino's photoshoot in May issue of Duet. XD
- A junior high student told that she doesn't have neither free time nor opportunities to meet boys, because she studies in a female junior high school, and asked Aibachan how he managed to get a girlfriend when he was a student!!! XD
It's so cute when he replies "Did I ever say that I had a girlfriend!?"
Of course that actually he didn't answer if he had a girlfriend, or how did he approach to the girls. ^^;; Haha!
By the way, Aibachan is such a sportsman ne! He mentioned baseball in the opening, swimming in A-1 GP, and basketball in Oshiete Aibachan! I wish I was good in sports too! My sports skills are really BAD!!! ^^;;
Words in blue are my observations. Sometimes Aibachan talks to someone, but I don't know who he is. So I just put "staff" in orange, assuming that he's someone from the staff. ^^;
As always, many many thanks to aibaland for the audio file!
You can lock the cell phone, but don't lock your heart! Arashi! Aiba Masaki no Rekomen Arashi Remix!
Konbanwa! Arashi no Aiba Masaki desu!!
It's getting warm now ne... Ne?
I... Well... it's not a so big thing... But I created a baseball team!
I've already been playing baseball, but that was a team of the office (from Johnny's). And this time I created a team as the owner!
The name of the team is カラーズ (I don't know if it is "COLORS" or "Karaazu", the way it is read ^^;)
Why its name is カラーズ is because...
Do you remember of Karasawa-kun, the director of Doubutsuen, who once came to this program? So our intent by creating this team was to "bring his teens back, one more time".
That's why it's カラーズ of Karasawa-kun. And he's the pitcher.
Let me try to explain why it became like this. Karasawa-kun used to play baseball when he was at high school. And he is a person who dedicated everything to baseball, aiming to participate in the Koushien. (Koushien 甲子園 is a simplification of Hanshin Koushien Stadium, where the national high school baseball tournaments are held every year.)
Although nowadays he have gained a little bit of weight...
He have been playing for a while. And when he was at the 3rd year, in the final stage, finally their turn came. They were winning during the round-robin tournaments, with a difference of about 10 points. They were winning, but after that, the next stage would be the knockout tournament, so they didn't have much confidence that they would continue. So Karasawa-kun was already prepared for it, in case it happens.
Then finally his turn came. And Karasawa-kun was positioned in the next batter circle, wielding lustily his bat. Then he entered in his position, and the sign that came from the manager was... "sacrifice bunt!"
Haha! Even though they had a difference of 10 points! He was like "A sacrifice bunt here!?" Karasawa-kun's thoughts were like "But if we do some attack here, we still have chance to go to the next match!". Even so, what came from the manager was a "sacrifice bunt"...
After hearing that story, my thought was "What a poor thing..." "Poor Karasawa-kun..." ne? Then I said "So what... I may do something for him. I shall be the owner!" Then I gathered some possible team members and created the team. We already played 2 games. And we won the 2 games! Karasawa-kun is the pitcher, the so dreamed pitcher. He said that he wanted to do it. Because when he was in high school, he could only play in the outfield.
Although we already played 2 games, Karasawa-kun played as a pitcher in the first game, but then he suffered an injury which will take 1 month for the fully recover...
staff: Ha?
Hahaha! It happened probably because... I wonder why... Although he played only in the first game, when he went to the hospital he was told that the injury will take 1 month for the fully recover. So he did some acupuncture, and actually he didn't play in our second game. Even though this is a team of Karasawa-kun.
staff: Even so...
Even so...
Well, that's what I've been doing these days! Here and there! Playing baseball and such.
staff: What about Aiba-san?
I'm usually the number 3 and I'm the center. It's the most kakkoii position!
staff: Looks like Shinjou's position.
Yes, looks like Shinjou-san indeed. (Shinjou Tsuyoshi is a famous baseball player, though I think he already quit playing.) I prefer being in the outfield. Cause the home... Well, I think the listeners can't follow me even if I tell such things... I didn't realize till now, but maybe I talked too much...
Let's start? Let's start this week's Arashi! Aiba Masaki no Rekomen Arashi Remix!
Again... Konbanwa! It's Aiba Masaki from Arashi! This program is broadcasted to the national network, having Tokyo Hamamatsu's Bunka Housou as the key station.
Quickly, I would like to play tonight's first song. Let's play that one. Yosh! Once Again by Arashi!
.....Once Again.....
A: Yabai! Me ga juuketsu shiteru!
(Oh no! My eyes are red!)
O: Radio desu.
(Don't forget that this is a radio.)
A: Ah, that's true... Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
A-1 GP Strongest Competition
The "strongest" thing though it wouldn't be able to go to the Guinness Book. This is a corner where you can boast about something familiar to you that you think it can be the strongest/largest/biggest/amazing.
Let's introduce the "strongest" stuff we received this week from everybody.
This one, I really thought this is the "strongest" indeed. From Kumamoto-ken. Eee... Pen name... It's 和(kazu) of 和也(Kazunari) plus 葉(ha) of 葉っぱ(happa = leaf). I received this from Waha(和葉)-san!? Hahaha!
Aibachan konAiba! Our school is an educational institute of nursing, and the cleaning is very strict. Each student must make "Matsui bou" (This is the name of one of the inventions of Matsui Kazuyo-san, the lady who was a regular member in Golden Rush Arashi. It's a stick that makes the cleaning easier and it can be made at home. ^^;) using one set of chopsticks. Since there are about 60 students in each grade, there are about 120 sticks of "Matsui bou" in each grade. Since the students in 4th and 5th grade make them, so there are about 240 sticks of "Matsui bou" in the school. I'm submitting this because I think there isn't any school that has so many sticks of "Matsui bou".
I suppose so ne. I think there isn't. They probably have more than at Matsui-san's home. I think this is probably the "strongest".
staff: More than at Funakoshi-san's home.
Yes, there are more than at Funakoshi-san's home. Sure.
(Funakoshi Eichirou-san is Matsui-san's husband. He already appeared in Shukudaikun.)
This is indeed the "strongest". Let's continue.
Eee... From Saitama-ken, Kintaa~man!? Fufu! Or maybe Kinta-man!?
staff: Kinta-man.
I received this from Kinta-man.
Aibachan konAiba! I enjoy listening to your radio show every week. By the way, at my school there is a club activity of synchronized swimming, called "rhythm swimming club". Don't you think it's rare? Our coach is a medalist of the world swimming and is really good. By the way, I join the rhythm swimming club.
Amazing. Was there a synchronized swimming club? For me, there wasn't. Maybe it's a private school. It's written Saitama-ken. It's probably private.
staff: It's not possible to know...
Cause if it's a club activity, it means that they have it during the whole year. Maybe it's an indoor swimming-pool? For synchronized swimming, it must have a certain depth. In common schools... Well, at my school there was one at the roof, but seems that it doesn't sound like this ne. I remember that I always waited eagerly for the swimming-pool time. Always! Wasn't the swimming-pool fun?
staff: It was! Love it.
Did you like it? I do swimming since I was 3 years old. I used to attend the swimming school near my home, and until 5th year of elementary school, I think, I used to go swim twice a week... Twice a week. It was so amusing. I used to receive a kind of report, where I wrote down how many kilometres I swam during this summer. I did it.
And what was cool at that time was that... Do you know the cap, the swimming cap? There is a swimming cap made of rubber, the one which doesn't wet the hair. I wanted to use that, because when you're allowed to use them, it means that you became into another class/level. And the colors, it was also separated by colors.
staff: (.....)
Yes, yes. It starts in white, and then, later the cap starts to get some colors. And in the end, you can use the rubber one.
staff: The rubber cap is a higher level?
Yes, it was like this, even if we have the same age. So I did my best, dreaming for that... though I couldn't...
Let's continue.
This is from Chiba-ken... Oh! Ayakaru Paccho-san! This is really really near my house! Really!? Can I read this!? So close!
Eh!? Ah! And probably we also live in the same neighborhood. Maji!? (Really!?)
Aibachan konAiba! I always enjoy listening to your radio show. The other day I was walking the train station, and I found a poster of a lamen shop/restaurant called 嵐. I'll send a photo, so please take a look. By the way, this lamen restaurant is at Tsudanuma of Chiba-ken. Isn't it the "strongest", to have a lamen restaurant called 嵐 in Chiba-ken, the place where Aibachan is from?
But first of all, Ayakaru Paccho-san lives too close to my house! This place used to be my playground when I was at elementary school, here around my house. What I used to do... I think, from the 5th grade of elementary school, I used to go by bicycle, cause if I go by train the rate, for children, costs 60yen. But I thought it was a waste to spend even that 60yen, so I used to go by bike, taking almost 30 minutes to arrive. Then if I go there, there was a bowling center. How many years ago was that? Since it was when I was 10, when I was about 10 years old... So it's about 15 years ago, but in that bowling center, the score points were hand-written. A bowling center where it's hand-written...
staff: Yes, there were!
There were, right?
Huh? But isn't it strange that I know that!? Actually there was the normal computer lane, but also there were some lanes of the hand-written one, and those hand-written were a lot more cheaper. If a strike comes here, then you have to add 2 points, then add here, and such. Aaah... How I remember about that!
Let's go to the next one!
staff: And what happened to the talk about the lamen restaurant called 嵐!?
Hahaha!! Well, I think there was just a person called Arashi-san there. Let's continue.
Continuing... This is from Tokyo City. Eee... I received this from Akiyo-san!
My "strongest" information is the fact that a relative of mine is Tsuburaya-san from Tsubuyara Productions, of Ultraman.
Sugoi!!!
I myself knew about that just recently. My mother said to me "You didn't know!?"
Aibachan, do you like Ultraman? (a famous Japanese super hero series)
Yes, I do! From Ultraman series, I like the Ultra Seven!
staff: Same as me.
Really!? It's like Bejiita, in case of Dragon Ball. Or like Mitsui, in Slam Dunk. So if it was in Doraemon...
staff: If it was in Doraemon?
I can't say Doraemon... Hahaha!! In case of Doraemon it's not possible to relate...
staff: So in (Himitsu Sentai) Goranger, it would be the blue ranger.
Yes, kind of thing. That's true.
staff: Not the main centre.
Yes, the one beside...
staff: The one beside, a sort of cool one...
In case of Kinnikuman... it's like Warsman? Robin Mask? Brocken Jr.? Ramenman? Aaah... Anime is so interesting ne. The other day I heard about a collection that contains all types of Kinkeshi of Kinnikuman, and all the anime of Kinnikuman, including all the live action movies. It costs about some hundred thousands.
staff: Including the Kinkeshi as a set?
Yes. But I think it's not something to be bought at once. Don't you think so? And I wonder if I can buy and play with Kinkeshi, now in my age.
staff: Hahaha!
I thought of buying it, but when I thought whether I would be able to play with them or not, I became insecure and gave up...
staff: So in the end you didn't buy.
I didn't buy, but I would like to see that Kinnikuman collection.
Can I read the last one?
I'll read the last one. This is from Souka City of Saitama-ken. I received this from Momoko-chan. Arigatou gozaimasu.
Aibachan konAiba!
KonAiba!
This the "strongest" thing of my home. Eee... The other day Aibachan said that the temperature of the bath water is 47 degrees, right? But at my house, my father really likes hot bath, so we set the temperature for the astonishing 55 degrees. I realized this just recently, but isn't it the A-1? Here is the proof, by the way.
It's really set for 55 degrees. Isn't it impressive?
staff: I think it's a little impossible...
55. Well, so even if it's not exactly 55, it'll still rise to 53 or 4.
staff: And it's indicating the "high temperature" position.
High temperature...
staff: 55 degrees.
55... Isn't it almost the same as a boiling water bath!? Boiling water bath everyday.
This is indeed the "strongest".
So if you have something that you think it can be the "strongest" too, please send it to this corner, please!
Now I want you to listen to a song of Arashi. "We can make it" by Arashi.
.....We can make it.....
O: paio-tsu kaide na, derumo no chan-nee mo kiiteru!
(What a big breast, model gals are also listening it!)
A: REALLY?? (maji de??)
A/O: Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
(Oshiete, Aibachan!) Tell us, Aibachan!!
I'll answer to the questions I received from the listeners by e-mails and letters! Let's start!
Eee... This is from... Huum... Nagasaki-ken, I received this from pen name Nami-chan. Arigatou gozaimasu.
I noticed this when I watched the special of Shimura Doubutsuen. The panda plush toy that Aibachan took in your hands to try to play with the panda bear, seemed to be the same as the panda that Nino was using as a pillow in Duet May issue. They happen to be the same? Aibachan, please tell me.
Instead of asking it to me, I think it'll be faster if asking to someone in charge of the edition. Haha! Honestly, if I'm asked if Nino was using the same panda that I was using, I really don't know... Actually they aren't the same... but maybe they happen to be the same? I don't know. Then I'll ask about it in the next time!
staff: What about asking to Nino?
But this is only if Nino was watching Doubutsuen.
staff: Ah, do you think he wasn't watching?
The probability that he wasn't watching is high!
staff: He doesn't watch?
Cause he's busy ne. Furthermore, if I say that I saw Nino's May issue of Duet, it's a little suspicious...
staff: Ah, you didn't see!?
I sa... I... Then I'll ask about it! I'll! I'll ask about it ne, Nami-chan. Ne? I'm sorry. Let's continue.
Continuing... Fukuoka-ken, pen name "Massu daisuki" san. Fufu! Arigatou gozaimasu. I'll tell Massu next time, if I meet him.
(If I'm not wrong, Massu is Masuda Takahisa of NEWS..?)
Eee... I always enjoy listening to your radio show. I am in the student council in a private female junior high school. (single-sex education) That's why I don't have much free time and I also don't have much opportunities to meet boys. Aibachan, how did you manage to get a girlfriend when you was a student? Please, tell me.
Did I ever say that I had a girlfriend!? I didn't say that!
staff: She's probably thinking that you had one.
Really? Well... The school that I used to attend was a coeducational school, and it wasn't neither a private school nor a male school. The elementary school was a coeducational school too, so actually I was in an environment surrounded by boys and girls together.
But, I had a kind of admiration for the girls of other schools. Don't you understand? They are. I don't know why of that kind of strange feeling.
staff: Also, a girl who studies at the same preparatory school...
Or maybe when there was a match/game (between schools)... Well, I used to play basketball, so when the male basketball and the female basketball, both go to a match, if there was any free time, we used to think of how we could approach them. We thought of it.
staff: To approach the girls of female basketball of the opponent school.
Yes, yes. Like how can I approach to the girl... But... well... it's difficult ne. Because you may call this "nanpa" ne. ("nanpa" is a kind of flirting in Japan.)
So there was no way for me to do it. I wonder what would be a good approach. The most important is to take the first step ne. But that's what is hard to find.
staff: Although I think that if we go back to our junior high school days now, with the head we have now, maybe there are some strategies.
There are? For me, there aren't. Hahaha! What would you do? Would you drop off a handkerchief or such? If you would go back in the way you're now. Suppose that you went back to junior high, in the way you're now, and you're in the basketball club. Then the opponent junior high school came to the match. How would you approach?
staff: That's to turn yourself into an easy type of person.
Hahaha!! For example? What do you mean by this? If you're an easy person, then you have an easy feeling and a sort of light behaviour...
staff: Do it and...
And what would you say then?
staff: Go straight towards the girl you like and...
And?
staff: And say that "I'm [...] from [...] junior high school. What's your name?"
Oooh... So you would ask her name first?
staff: Yes.
Haaa... So pen name "Massu daisuki" san must do that as well. Then it starts firstly from joining a club activity and participating in a match?
staff: Although I don't think it must be limited to a club activity.
Well... It can be a preparatory school classes as well. (Because students from various schools, different junior high, high school, etc, may attend the same preparatory school and meet students from other schools there.)
staff: Preparatory school as well.
Preparatory school can be too. Haaa... So "Massu"san, let's attend a preparatory school.
staff: (.....)
I think she can make it.
Eee... So everybody, I'm waiting for your questions yo! Mail address is arashi@joqr.net or mail box 〒105-8002 文化放送「嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス」!!

They also sang a song called green!!
No performance of A.RA.SHI (This is so sad..... I wonder why they didn't sing it...)
There were some female dancers.
Aiba-chan's solo performance is very cute, and it's like Nino's "Himitsu"!! And he played harmonica in the middle! Aaaaaawww... I wanna see that!!
Will update more if I find more info! I wanna know more about their solo performances!!
嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス 2008.05.02
I'm glad to hear Aibachan's voice this week! He was genki as always!! ^______^
Opening
It's starting the Golden Week in Japan! But Aibachan said that they don't have holiday...
Opening mail
The listener told Aibachan that she's trying to guess what will be the opening song of Arashi's concert this year! Aibachan said that they already decided which one will be the first song but he can't tell it!
Omoide Shredder
- A listener from Yachio City thought that it was the place where the shooting of PIKANCHI was done. But actually the city was Yashio, instead of Yachio.
- The listener was in front of her apartment trying to open the door, but later she realized that she was standing in front of the apartment on the 3rd floor... But she lives on the 5th floor... She was almost to cause an incident!
- A listener who didn't realize that her zipper was completely open... Aibachan told that during Arashi's first concert, his zipper was totally open and he was waving like "Doumo arigatou!!" without realizing it. XD
- Aibachan read 2 mails talking about mistakes in reading a word in kanji. There was a kanji that Aibachan couldn't read too. ^^;
Oshiete Aibachan!
- Why Sho-chan and Aibachan were sharing the same dressing room in Gakkou e Ikou MAX?
- When Aibachan was a kid, was there a kind of ritual that your mama used to do to you before you fall asleep?
- If you're going to meet someone at the meeting place, Aiba-kun is the type that arrive before the appointed time, or the type that come late?
Ending
Aibachan prohibited using the internet, after their first day of concert in Osaka. Because people may report about their con and if you see the net, you'll find out what will be the first song! So he said that "net is prohibited!!"
Words in blue are my observations. Sometimes Aibachan talks to someone, but I don't know who he is. So I just put "staff" in orange, assuming that he's someone from the staff. ^^;
As always, many many thanks to aibaland for the audio file.
Do you wanna have dinner? Or do you rather take a bath? Or maybe... Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
(gohan ni suru? ofuro ni suru? so-re-to-mo... Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!)
Konbanwa! Arashi no Aiba Masaki de~su!
We're already in May... And the Golden Week is coming ne. Let me see if I had some memories of Golden Week... Till now we have never done concerts during this period, but also we don't have holiday. During our Golden Week in May.
And even when I was little, I don't have any recollections of going for a travel during Golden Week of May. Because my home...
staff: You're usually working.
Yes, because my home is a Chinese restaurant. So this is the prosperous period to earn. During the Golden Week. That's why we didn't travel anywhere, and I used to stay at home playing games or playing of base/headquarters, when I was a child.
staff: Some people have 11 consecutive days of holiday.
11 consecutive days of holiday? That's surprising! Eh? Is it for businessman and such?
staff: Yes, the company gives those holidays.
Haaa... I wonder what I would do if I had 11 days of holiday... I think it would be possible to do some long recording on location. If we had 11 days.
staff: On work?
We would be able to! Certainly! In somewhere overseas.
Haaa... Alright... This week I'm also going in high tension!
So firstly, I would like to start introducing a mail! Eee... This is from District of Katsushika, and I received this from radio name Nao-san! Arigatou gozaimasu!
Eee... Aibachan, konAibaaado!? Hum? KonAibaaado! Is this an association of "konAiba" and "bird"?
staff: I suppose so...
I think so! I think this expression may be useful!
Eee... I bought the new album! It was really nice! And its release date was the same day of my daughter's birthday, so we commemorated both together. Eee... I'm sending a photo. It was kinda embarrassing to order this cake. At first, the word "嵐" became too small, so I ordered them to re-write it! "Bigger, please!"
I'm also looking forward to the concert. We're all imagining what will be the opening song!
Hum! Sugoi! There's a picture here! At one side of the cake, I suppose it's the name of her daughter with the writings "Happy Birthday", and... "Congratulations! 嵐 New Album". There are two plates side by side!
staff: It looks like a cookie or something.
I suppose it's certainly a cookie. It makes me really happy! But I think it might be embarrassing to order such thing.
And she's saying that they're all imagining what will be the first song! Isn't nice? Looking forward to what will come!
staff: Is it already decided?
Yes, it's already decided!! But I can't tell it ne! Perhaps... It's possible that the first song is going to be a V6 song! We never know! So please, look forward to it ne!
So let's start this week's Arashi!
Eee... This is from Arashi's new album! I want you to listen "Do my best" by Arashi!
.....Do my best.....
Anata no mimi ni checkmate!! Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
(checkmate to your ear!)
(Omoide Shredder) Memory Shredder
It's been a while! The Omoide Shredder!
Omoide Shredder has the purpose of taking your shameful/embarrassing memories or past memories that you want to forget, and having them shredded by me, Aiba Masaki, using a shredder.
We have an amount of backlog proportinally to the time that we have left this corner aside! I would like to take your memories to the shredder.
So firstly, this is from Chiba-ken, Yachio City, radio name Semisari-san!? I received this from Semisari?... san!
Eee... Maa-kun-san, konAiba! KonAiba-ba!
This is something that happened when I went to the live of Arashi some time ago. Me and the two people by my both side, the three of us started to talk excitedly, and then we asked each other where each one of us was from. One was from Yokohama, the other one was from Tokyo City, and then I told them excitedly that I was from a place called Yachio in Chiba-ken. Then one of them told me that "Eh!? So it's the place where the shooting of PIKANCHI was done!". At that time I haven't watched PIKANCHI yet, even so I answered with all my confidence "Yes, it is!!". And even after going back from the live, I boasted about it, telling my parents, siblings and friends that "Yachio is the place where the shooting of PIKANCHI was done!". BUT, when I watched PIKANCHI later, I realized that it wasn't Yachio, but Yashio! I think it was my fault for not saying the name properly. I was so ashamed that if I find a hole I wish to bury myself in it! Aibachan, please, not only take such memory to the shredder, but also burn it, please!
Hahaha!! This is indeed embarrassing! Although Yachio and Yashio are very similar! But it seems that the two of them, the two among the three who were there together, they both understood wrongly, when she said Yachio in Chiba-ken.
staff: Maybe they were sort of distracted...
Yes, distracted... BUT, although the shooting of PIKANCHI wasn't done in Yachio, it was along the railway line 14 in Chiba-ken. So actually we did the shooting near there, on the way going towards Yachio.
staff: Line 14 close to Yachio... So was it near Funabashi and such?
No, I think it's not! It must be close to Inage. On the way towards there, the set was build up, at a vacant lot. And I remember that it was very near my house!
staff: Then Chiba can somehow be considered a place for location.
Yes, somehow Chiba is a place that can be used on location. Even so, this is still a misunderstanding, so we'll burn it later! After putting this into the shredder.
Let me continue.
Eee... Aibachan konAiba!
Eee... This is from radio name Metaly-san! Where this person lives is not writen here... but this is from Metaly-san!
Eee... Aibachan, please listen. I live on the 5th floor of the condominium. On this day, I took the elevator, as always, and pushed the button to the 5th floor. Since there was only me in the elevator, I dropped off when the door opened, and I went straight to in front of my apartment. Then I tried to open the door. But it doesn't open! I thought "Eh? Did I forget to close?"
But no, it was locked and didn't open. I was in panic, thinking "Eh? An incident? What should I do now?" and walking the corridor at a loss. Then I realized! That it was the 3rd floor... Yes, I was insistently trying to open the apartment of someone. I was almost to cause an incident... Like I was running away from there, I called the elevator again and went up to the 5th floor, thinking "Why did the elevator open at the 3rd floor!?"
I entered my apartment and of course the door opened very easily. Aaah... What a fright! Please, take this memory to the shredder!
This is kinda off-topic, but there is a sumo wrestler's house at the 3rd floor.
I wonder if it was that house that she tried to open. The sumo wrestler's... I wonder...
Well, I think it must be something that happens very often, if you live in a condominium. Since the aspect of the 3rd or the 5th floor might be very similar. So, to make things easier, maybe you should leave something in front of your house to identify. Like your favorite umbrella, for example. Or maybe an unicycle. Such houses are quite common. In front of my friend's house there are many kinds of things, like an unicycle and such. So it would be nice to do it. Please try it!
Hai! Let me continue! Continuing... Eee... This is from Saitama-ken, radio name Sono-chan!
KonAiba! I enjoy listening the program every week, and I always involve my mother into it. My past that I want it to be shredded is something that happened when I was at the 4th year of elementary school. Eee... At the school where I graduated, once a year there is a class of Traffic Safety Program, and some people from the local police come to give instructions. At that time they did a quiz, and since I was the type that liked to appear in public, when I saw that no-one rose their hands, I thought "Yosh! This is my chance!" and rose my hand in excitement! And luckly I was pointed to answer the question, so I went in front of everyone, told the answer and returned to my seat. Then my friend patted my shoulder and whispered "Sono! Your zipper is completely open yo!" I thought "I can't believe!" and when I checked below, yes, it was completly open... While I was shocked and in blank face, the boy who I liked at that time, laughed at me, telling me that "Your zipper is completely open!" I seriously thought that if there was a hole, I wanted to bury myself in it... Please, take this shameful past to the shredder. Please.
It happens very often ne. It happens very often! Me... I think it was in the first concert of Arashi... Think I went up in a crane... And while I was waving like "Doumo arigatou!!", the zipper was completely open... And the worst, it was shown in some wide show.
staff: Was it possible to see? To verify it?
Well, I was able to check it, but I didn't tell about it to anyone!! Perhaps if you don't tell, no-one will find out.
Huuum... If there is someone who have this video... Delete it immediately! Please!
I'm always wearing a black "spats" under the concert outfit. (I don't know how is it called, the "spats" that Aibachan mentioned is a kind of shorts, which is very tight and short... I suppose you guys already saw it when Nino pulled Aibachan's pants down during Time Con... ^^;;)
So even if it can be seen, I think it's not possible to notice because it's black. Because the dark place is black.
staff: What about white underpants?
If I wear white "spats", then it'll appear because it'll be a white thing in a dark place. I think it wasn't so viewable since it was something black in a dark place.
Eee... Let's continue! Continuing... This is from District of Edogawa... Eee... Ah! Pen name "I'm going to the concert even if I happen to suffer a fracture" san! This is "I'm going!" san!
KonAiba! Please, listen my shameful memory. It's something that happened when I was deciding with my friend, on what day we should go watch Aibachan's stage play "Wasurerarenai Hito". I said "Of course, it'll be better to choose the [chiakigaku] (final day), right?" and then when I looked at my friend's face, she was clearly making a face of interrogation. Then she replied "Do you mean [senshuuraku]?" while she was trying to hold her laugh. Yes... I was reading [chiakigaku] instead of [senshuuraku]. After that, my friend kept teasing me because of it.
(Senshuuraku is written 千秋楽 and it means the final day of presentations of a stage play, exhibitions, etc. AND it's possible to read this kanji, wrongly, as "chiakigaku")
To read wrongly is something that happens very often!! "chiakigaku"... Well, let me read one more of those "reading mistake" series!
staff: Hahaha!!
Eee... This one is also about mistakes in reading. This is from Kochi-ken. Eee... Radio name Song-chan!
Aibachan konAiba! Eee... I was talking with my friend about the time when I was at junior high, and then I said "This is the period of [shoshinki] (she meant "puberty"), isn't it?" without even realizing my mistake. Then my friend replied...
Shushinki!? Shushin... EH!? Shushu... EH?
staff: Shishunki.
Shishun!? I also don't know how to read this!! Aaah... damn! I'm sorry, Song-chan!! I also couldn't read it!
Shushi... Eh? What? Shishunki!
My friend replied "Do you mean [shishunki]??" and burst out laughing, telling me "Let's study some grammar now?"
Think I'm going to study too.
"shishunki", right?
staff: It must go to the shredder too.
Yes, let's shred them, together with my stumbling over... Because to read wrongly may happen very often! Can't help it! Because we're all human beings! Saying in Aida Mitsuo way...
staff: We're human!
We're human! What can I do! Let's go ahead!
Well, I'm going to shred all those memories!
(wiiiiinn...)
Goodbye, shameful past!! That was the Memory Shredder!
When the children fall asleep... In secret... Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
(Oshiete, Aibachan!) Tell us, Aibachan!!
I'll answer to the questions I received from the listeners by e-mails and letters! This week many letters had arrived as always! Let's start!
Eee... This is from Shizuoka City, radio name White Momongaaa-san!
Suzuki-san! KonAiba!
Suzuki-san!?
I watched "Gakkou e Ikou MAX". Although they're boys, they're really beautiful ne... I wanna be like them too. Since my surname is Ikeno, somehow I feel a kind of familiarity with Ikeno-kun who was wearing Kimono. By the way, only Aibachan and Sho-kun were at the same dressing room. You guys seemed to have fun together, but why you two were at the same dressing room?
Alright! AH! Haaa... Now I remember that I was called "Suzuki-san" by mistake, during the prank. Aaah... That's true...
We don't have nothing defined regarding our dressing room. Like whom is going to be with whom... But that day it was like this by coincidence.
staff: Both of you shared the same room.
Yes, it was the same room for we two.
staff: Not 1 room for each one.
No, it wasn't. It was like "2 in 1".
staff: 2 in 1...
Hum. That's it. But it doesn't mean that we share the same dressing room always.
staff: It's just that sometimes it happens to be "2 in 1".
Yes, sometimes it may be "2 in 1". And it also can be "5 in 1"!
staff: "5 in 1" too?
Yes, yes. And sometimes there is also one room which is divided in many parts. So I think it depends on the situation and on the moment.
And of course, if there are many other artists present at the TV station, it may not have so many dressing rooms available, right?
So it's not something that is always fixed.
Let's continue! Continuing, this is from Hokkaido! Oh! From Chitose City. We received this from radio name Yuutan!
Aibachan konAiba! I read 1 book per day, to my 8 years old and 5 years old daughters, before they fall asleep. Meanwhile, I caress their ear and face with a cotton swab, then my children calm down and fall asleep easily. What about Aibachan, was there a kind of ritual that your mama used to do to you before you fall asleep? Please tell me.
When I was a child... I don't know... I lived at my grandparents' house when I was little, so until I grow and begin to attend kindergarden and elemetary school, I didn't stay much time with my parents. So there wasn't any kind of routine that could be called a ritual.
staff: You didn't ask your mom to go sleep with her?
To sleep with my mom... I guess they must have been busy at work. Working hard together! That's why I think I don't have such memory. But when they were working at Tokyo, and my grandma's house is in Chiba, they used to come back home very late, sometimes they used to return only in the earliest hours of the next day. At those days, when they come back, I used to wake up at 5 or 4 o'clock in the morning, to stay awake, waiting for them. I still remember about that.
And there was a kind of live-action, a superhero TV series, airing on TV, around 4 o'clock in the morning. I already forgot what program was that, but I have an impression that I was watching it a lot. Isn't it kinda strange that it was airing at that time?
staff: Is it a program for kids?
Yes, and I was watching it, waiting for my parents to come back. And then when they come back, I'll sleep again together with them. That was what I used to wait eagerly for. Though it wasn't a kind of ritual.
Continuing... The last one. I received this from Wakayama-ken, radio name Akka-chan!
Eee... I'm going straight to my question. If you're going to meet someone at the meeting place, Aiba-kun is the type that arrive before the appointed time, or the type that come late? By the way, I'm the type that arrive at the meeting place 10 minutes earlier and wait for my friends.
She's correct ne. I wish I was like her too. And I also wish that my friends were like this too.
staff: Are you the type that wait for?
I... I think I usually await. And my friends... I usually hang out with my friends of always. For example, those that came to this radio, Takuma-kun, or Abe Yuuya... Hum... Those people, I know that when they give me a phone call telling me that they'll arrive in 30 minutes, it means that they'll take more 1 hour till they arrive. I already have this calculation in my mind. That's why I'll arrive at the meeting place only after 1 hour.
staff: It means that when they call you saying that they're going to arrive in 30 minutes, they're already late.
Yes, yes. Since they call me when it's already the appointed time. But I also didn't leave home yet, because I already know that they'll arrive late. Then I'll ask "More how long?"... "30 minutes? OK." and I'll arrive after 1 hour. That's my previous calculation that I have in my mind. I know that they'll take more 1 hour to arrive at the meeting place. How can I say... It's like a sequence of facts.
staff: Hahaha!!
I can't help it.
staff: It may happen because your relationship with them is like this.
I think so. As a final effect... To the worse and worse side... So even if we plan to meet at 8 o'clock to eat dinner and such, we'll start only at about 9:30.
staff: You're already forecasting that it'll be like this.
Yes, I'm forecasting.
staff: The loss time...
Yes, yes... But, for me, it changes depending on the person who I'm going to meet.
staff: Of course...
Yes, of course! When I'm going to meet someone from the staff, or someone who I can't make him/her awaiting, I'll certainly arrive before the appointed time. Because my blood type is AB. That's why my friends always say that I have double personality. And I'll always reply that "No, I'm not!"
staff: You're just putting the things apart, right?
Hahaha! We have to be clever.
So we're waiting for your unique questions! Mail address is arashi@joqr.net or mail box 〒105-8002 文化放送「嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス」!!
So now I would like you to listen to a song! Koe by Arashi.
.....Koe.....
The address for postcard is 〒105-8002 文化放送「嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス」!!
E-mail is arashi@joqr.net - please write the name of the corner in the subject.
It's also easy to send messages from the mobile website of Bunka Housou.
The ending time is nearing... As an announcement from Arashi, we have the 5 Dome Tour. That's right ne. ARASHI Marks 2008 Dream"A"live. We're in the middle of our rehearsals now!
staff: The first song is already defined.
Yes, we have already decided the first song! But, I can't tell you! I wanna tell! Actually I would like to tell!
staff: (.....)
No, no!! If I say it here, everybody will know, won't they? So I can't tell!
staff: So does it mean that people from Osaka should not tell to people from other regions too?
Haha! I want them to keep it in secret!
Because when we go to the concert, one of the things that we look forward to, is to know what will be the next song. Isn't it?
So after the concerts in Osaka had started, stop viewing the net!
staff: Like "Since I'm going to attend the concert in Tokyo, I'll stay away from the internet..."
Yes, the net is prohibited! Because if you see the net, you'll find out everything...
staff: Maybe if you're distracted, you'll end up reading at somewhere, what is the first song.
Although I don't think people will write about such thing! (Aibachan... you don't know how many people report about Arashi's concert in their blogs! XD)
staff: And what about the reports of those TV shows like Tokudane and Mezamashi?
Aaaaah!! Those wide shows?
But I think the wide shows don't report so many details, like song list of the performances!
Hum! The other day we went to eat dinner ne, with all the staff here. Let's unify our efforts for the concert! Ne?
Arashi Aiba Masaki no Rekomen Arashi Remix!
Your partner was Aiba Masaki! Please continue listening next week ne!! Bye bye!!

MMC News
It was really sad to listen Aibachan reading all the MMC news alone, without Otsuka-kun by his side to read together, comment and laugh together.
Oshiete Aibachan!
- Aibachan was asked if he joined any club activity (or extracurricular activity) when he was at junior high or high school. He was in the basketball club.
- A listener who wants to give a present for her parents with her first salary, asked Aibachan for some advices of what to give.
- Some time ago Otsuka-kun read an e-mail sent by a girl from Tochigi-ken, and Aibachan asked where is Tochigi. So a listener from Tochigi-ken sent an e-mail complaining if Aibachan was asking it seriously or if he was joking.
Songs played during this program:
- Hello Goodbye
- Kimi no tame ni boku ga iru
- WISH
- My Answer
More songs than usual ne... Aibachan usually plays only 2 songs during the program, but this time...
Words in blue are my observations.
As always, many many thanks to aibaland for the audio file.
A: Yabai! Me ga juuketsu shiteru!
(Oh no! My eyes are red!)
O: Radio desu.
(Don't forget that this is a radio.)
A: Ah, that's true... Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
Konbanwa! Arashi no Aiba Masaki desu. Eee... I have an... announcement for everyone. Eee... It's about Otsuka-kun who was always with me in this radio... The writer and editor Otsuka Toshiki-kun passed on yesterday.
When I received this news... I was really shocked...
He didn't suffer from any chronic disease. And I was told that it was a sudden cardiac disease.
I also went for the visitation.
And it's still tough for me to take the reality...
We also thought a lot about whether to tell everyone about this or not. As a result of what we staff decided together, we thought that we should tell, since this program goes on.
I would like to try to renew my feelings, to be able to continue.
Today I'll up my tension for me and for Otsuka-kun!
Let's go!
So firstly, I'll start playing the first song. Eee... So please listen, Hello Goodbye by Aiba Masaki.
.....Hello Goodbye.....
O: The radio has already started, so now what are you waiting for?
A: Eh? Spring!
A: Arashi! Aiba Masaki no Rekomen Arashi Remix!
It's Aiba Masaki.
The very very small news. I'll transmit the MMC News.
An incident happened in Souka City of Saitama-ken, when a junior high student girl who was skipping rope during Physical Education class, stumbled over the rope when she performed a double under, and had a swelling on her leg. And that swelling had the shape of the letter "A" of the alphabet. The junior high student girl told that she's feeling a bit sad, a bit happy, thinking that it must be an A of Dream"A"live, A of Arashi, and A of Aiba Masaki.
I see... Let me continue!
There was a happening in the afternoon of April 19th, when Ayako-san of Fukuoka-ken was going back home after having lunch. There was a frog sitting on the windshield of the car. The frog kept sitting on, even after the car had started to move. But it disappeared when Ayako-san arrived home. Although Ayako-san is saying that the frog hitched a ride at her car and ran away without paying, there is the possibility that the frog suffered an accident on the way, so the investigations will be proceeded in both, incident and accident, conditions.
WHY!?
Continuing.
According to the informations coming from the reporter in Itagashi City, on the day 16th, before 9 o'clock in the morning, a cell phone drowned in the toilet of the school located in the town. The drowned cell phone was purchased only 2 weeks ago, and it was in conditions of not having any scratch. Immediately after the classes had finished, the user of the cell took it to the cell phone shop, but the cell phone was already flooded and it was given a diagnosis that it'll need a surgery of emergency. 10 days for the fully recover and there is also the risk for the memory to suffer from the sequel of the injuries. The owner of the cell is currently using a substitute borrowed from the store. This user was in a hurry because the class was going to start, and the only salvation was that the user dropped it after flushing the toilet. That's what was reported.
Well, well, I agree with that.
Aiba Masako-san from Niigata-ken was washing her face with soap at the bathroom, holding her breath, but she felt out of breath and breathed through nose. The soap came into her nose and she suffered from a great pain. Masako-san warned to take care with soup.
This may happen, sometimes.
Chirori-san from Aichi-ken, on her 18 years old birthday on April 20th, received many presents, like a drumstick, T back, among others. But some unidentified person sent a package written "Finally a mummy of tsuchinoko was found out!" What was inside the package isn't possible to know through Chirori-san's e-mail, but when Chirori-san opened the package, she was so surprised and her eyes were tearing.
Tsuchinoko?? Doesn't it sound sort of perverted? That package?
Let me continue. Continuing...
A 22 years old teacher whose name is Sakurai Sho was admitted at a school located in Inage of Chiba City. This was revealed by an e-mail from Kyochi-san, a student who is frequenting that junior high school. It's also said that there is a person called Kojima Yoshio in the junior high OB. Teacher Sakurai Sho teaches Social Studies, he's responsible for the soccer club of the school, and he's from Hanamigawa. But he doesn't look like Sakurai Sho-kun of Arashi, in any way.
Sugoi! The kanji are the same too! 22 years old. So there are people with the same sex and same name. Heee... And he teaches Social Studies. I wonder if some Aiba Masaki won't pop up, having the same sex and the same name.
Well, today there were only very tiny news again. I... How can I say... I really don't know how to read them in a news-like way. In any way! This is really difficult... That's why Ogura-san, for example, is impressive... But maybe Ogura-san also doesn't make in a news-like way... I think he doesn't do, does he?
staff: Tomoaki-san?
Yes, Tomoaki-san...
(Ogura Tomoaki-san, our beloved Ogu-san in Shukudaikun ^^, is the caster in a TV program called Tokudane broadcasted by Fuji TV, but this is not exactly a news program, it's more like a wide show, bringing informations about famous people, events and happenings.)
staff: (.....)
Yes, since he doesn't read news so often...
Well, this is surprising. It's difficult.
They're so small happenings, that it irritates me while reading. When I can't read. Shit. I'll do my best to don't be defeated by this corner! So everybody, if you have a news that caught your attention, or a news that surprised you, please send them to this corner, to the MMC News.
Mail address is arashi@joqr.net or mail box 〒105-8002 文化放送「嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス」!
So here I would like you to listen to a song by Arashi. "Kimi no tame ni boku ga iru" by Arashi.
.....Kimi no tame ni boku ga iru.....
It was "Kimi no tame ni boku ga iru" from Arashi!
Now WISH by Arashi.
.....WISH.....
Here we go. Today we received a lot, as always. So, really thank you very much!
Firstly... I'll start from this one.
Eee... I received this from Saitama-ken, pen name Pink-chan! Arigatou gozaimasu!
Eee... I'm sending you an e-mail for the first time. I became a high school student from this Spring, and I joined the dance club of the school. But since I'm still at the 1st year, I have to run 5km everyday and after that, do the strength training. Only at the last few hours, my senpai teaches some steps of dance. Honestly, I want to be able to dance well soon. Aibachan, did you join a club activity when you were at junior high or at high school? And if you actually joined one, how did you manage to overcome the sad and tough moments? Please tell me.
Alright. Heee... How surprising! The dance club is practically strength training?
So there is a dance club. At my age, there wasn't. Dance club at high school? It looks like a circle.
staff: I suppose it's not a ballroom dance, right?
Yes, I suppose it's not a ballroom dance... Since she's saying "kakkoii"... But well... Ballroom dance may also be kakkoii... I suppose there are various genres in that dance club.
staff: (I can't listen what he said...)
Yes, yes, yes, doing such thing... Eeeh... This is amazing. And she told that they run 5km everyday.
Well, I was in the basketball club. And I was obliged to run everyday too.
If you arrive late for the training early in the morning, then during the training after classes, you are told to make 5 rounds around the school outside, and join the training only after doing that. But since they don't check if we ran or not, there were always many people who swindled. Huum. There was a shortcut if you pass through inside the school, so there were people who did it too.
But the main point is that those activities like running and strength training, they're all a battle with yourself. So if now you have to run 5km everyday, I think it'll certainly bring strength for you. So Pink-chan, ganbatte kudasai. (Please do your best.)
How did you manage to overcome tough or sad moments?
It's the willpower! If you stay thinking negatively, it won't work. So let's go ahead, always forward! Ne, Pink-chan? Ne?
Hai! So I would like to go to the next question.
Eee... This is from Kanagawa-ken, Hiromi-chan. Pen name... radio name Hiromi-chan... No, it's Romi-chan! I received this from Romi-chan. Arigatou gozaimasu!
Eee... In this Spring, I became a worker. With my first salary which I'm going to receive in May, I want to gift something to my parents, but I can't think of anything. If it was Aibachan, what you would gift? And have you ever gave?
Aaah... First salary ne... It's quite memorable. The first salary. I still remember about mine. Of one summer.
staff: Was it the first salary of when you were at Johnny's Junior?
Yes, yes, because besides Johnny's I've never worked in other places, like a part-time job and such. I still remember about it, but I think I didn't buy anything... I have an impression that I just saved it in the way it was. And I created a bank account at that time.
I wonder what could it be. I wonder what would be good to give.
What would be good?
staff: Have you ever gave a present to your parents?
I already gave presents to my parents many times. When I go overseas on location, for example, I usually buy a souvenir which is sold only at overseas, and it includes some expensive stuff and cheap things as well. I usually buy such things there.
But I think that... How can I say... I think what's better is... Those things that you can have and keep with you forever.
staff: As a present that my son/daughter bought for me with his/her first salary.
Huum... Then it'll be more easy for the mother to say...
staff: Or something that doesn't break.
Things that don't break ne.
staff: (.....)
I think so. Then maybe we should choose a hat?
staff: (Again, I can't listen what he said... Where is Otsuka-kun to talk to Aibachan and answer his questions... T___T damn...)
It doesn't break, so we should choose a hat. A hat is nice. Or maybe her mother doesn't wear hats? If she doesn't wear hats, then choose an accessory. So she can have it with her forever. So please do it ne, Romi-chan.
Let me continue. The next is from... Eee... This is from Tochigi-ken, pen name Rumi-chan.
KonAiba!
KonAiba!
On to the main topic, during the previous episode of this corner, Aibachan was asking "Where is Tochigi??", but was it serious or just a joke? It made me really sad.
I guess she must be angry ne... I'm sorry, Rumi-chan. When I asked where is Tochigi... Well, if I say that it was a joke, it was a joke... But if I call it a fiction, then it may be a fiction...
But I know quite a lot of things about Tochigi yo! I know that there is the Nikko, and I also went there. To Nikko. And also the Nasu Kougen, I used to go there every year when I was a child. As a family trip. Nasu Kougen, right? What else? The gyoza of Utsunomiya! It's very good ne. I know many things, so don't be so angry and please continue supporting this Aiba Masaki ne.
So we're waiting for your odd questions! Mail address is arashi@joqr.net or mail box 〒105-8002 文化放送「嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス」!!
So now I would like you to listen to a song! My Answer by Arashi.
.....My Answer.....
I would like to announce that the new album Dream"A"live was out for sale on April 23th. And also... Huum... The concert... ARASHI Marks 2008 Dream"A"live. It's going to start on May 16th at Kyosera Dome, until July 5th and 6th at Sapporo Dome! So please, please, I would be very happy if you have time to come to our 5 Dome Tour.
Eee... Arashi Aiba Masaki no Rekomen Arashi Remix!
I'll keep doing my best from now on too!
Your partner was Aiba Masaki! See you next week!! Bye bye!!
-END-
I was really in doubt whether to translate this week's Rekomen or not. I almost gave up in the middle many times. It's so hard to believe that we won't hear Otsuka-san's voice during Rekomen anymore. Some people may think that I sound exaggerated, but this news was really shocking for me. I was looking through some Japanese blogs, and reading so many entries and comments about Otsuka-san, really made me cry. Otsuka-san was such an adorable person. I start to cry whenever I remember about the funny talks between Otsuka-kun and Aibachan, Aibachan teasing him, Otsuka-kun laughing, and how Otsuka-kun and Aibachan did get along very well. All those jingles played during the program were the jingles that Aibachan and Otsuka-kun recorded together. To hear Otsuka-san's voice in those jingles really broke me down. If this news was so sad for us, fans, who knew Otsuka-kun only by listening to him in the radio, for Aibachan who was in touch with him so often, it must be a lot more tough. Although Aibachan was trying his best to hide his sadness and keep the program going on in high tension, I can view him trying to hold his tears. For each thing that Aibachan reads, I couldn't stop thinking about what Otsuka-kun would say or how he would react.
Otsuka-san... Thank you so much for everything that you did, for making Rekomen so funny and cheerful, for helping and taking care of Aibachan.
I was reading some Japanese fans' blogs, and some of them reported about this night's Rekomen... I'm still so shocked and I don't know what to say... I didn't listen to Rekomen yet, so I don't know any details, but there was a sad announcement tonight. Otsuka-san passed on yesterday. It was so sudden. I can't believe, he was so young, always laughing with Aibachan. I'm afraid of listening to this week's Rekomen, I'm afraid of hearing Aibachan's sad voice. I'll miss Otsuka-san...
Can't wait to watch it!!! This week's Gakkou e Ikou MAX was super funny and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time when I was watching it, but next week's seems to be even more interesting! XD
I can't believe that "girl" is actually a boy! These boys are much more beautiful and cute than many girls!!
Jumping to a completely different subject... ^^;; I've been listening non-stop to "Take me faraway" and "Hello Goodbye" alternately, in repeat mode!! I looove them!! I think they're my favourite songs in the new album! "Take me faraway" is so beautiful and Ohchan's voice is so so so beautiful too!! Really love this song since the first time I listened to it! And "Hello Goodbye" is so cute and so Aibachan style! Can't choose which one I like more! ^^
嵐・相葉雅紀のレコメン!アラシリミックス 2008.04.18
Opening mail
Aibachan was asked about what kind of seasoning does he like. Aibachan likes mayonnaise! And he likes to add shichimi and shoyu to mayonnaise.
Do-S ba Masaki's Sermon Room!!
Another new corner starting from this week! Aibachan yelling and trying to be do-S is very funny!!! XD though I think it sounds kinda... huum... artificial? But I like when he shouts "Bakayaroo!!" XDD Must listen it!!
Oshiete Aibachan!
- Aibachan likes to watch a TV show called "Suiyou Doudeshou" and a listener, who is a fan of this show as well, asked Aibachan how did he get to know about the program.
- As we all know, Aibachan likes to play imitating "Jaws" when he goes to onsen with the members. ^^ Onsen is a place to relax and get rid of tiredness, but he usually goes out from there more tired than he was XD
- If Aibachan would work in a part-time job, what he would like to challenge?
Words in blue are my observations.
As always, many many thanks to aibaland for the audio file.
You can lock the cell phone, but don't lock your heart! Arashi! Aiba Masaki no Rekomen Arashi Remix!
Aiba-chan: Konbanwa! Arashi no Aiba Masaki de~su!! This time a new corner is starting again!
Otsuka-kun: So it means that?
A: Yes! Shall we announce it? Or let's save the surprise for later? What do you prefer?
O: Let's announce it!
A: No, let's look forward to it. Hahaha!
A: So firstly, let's start from an e-mail.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
O: We received it from Chiba-ken... Chiba-ken, radio name Saki-chan!
A: Arigatou gozaimasu!
O: Aibachan, Otsuka-san konAiba!
A: KonAiba!
O: Eee... During the previous broadcast, you guys were talking about visiting a soy-sauce factory.
A: Oh! We talked about it!
O: Well, I'm from Noda, in Chiba-ken, so of course I went to visit there when I was at elementary school.
A: Oh!
O: Even when I'm at home, depending on the direction of the wind, sometimes I can feel the smell of soy-sauce.
A: Heee...
O: Here I have a question to Aibachan.
A: Hai.
O: Aibachan, what kind of seasoning do you like? And also, do you have a way which is different from the other people, to taste or put the seasoning?
A: Me...
O: I see...
A: Wait, what "I see..."??
O: Hai.
A: I really like the mayonnaise!
O: Mayonnaise?
A: I really like to add shichimi or soy-sauce to the mayonnaise. (Shichimi is a mix of spices)
O: I understand, I understand!
A: Do you? It's delicious, isn't it?
O: Yes! To put not only mayonnaise over "kara-age", for example.
A: Add shichimi...
O: And add soy-sauce too.
A: Yes yes! How is it called? Shoyu-mayonnaise?
O: Maybe "shoyu-mayo-shichimi".
A: Shoyu-mayo-shichimi?
A: Hahaha! Shoyu-mayo! Shoyu-mayo is delicious, isn't it?
O: That's indeed delicious.
A: Really good.
O: You can eat everything with that.
A: For example, squid.
O: Yes, squid. Aaah! I agree.
A: That's the best.
O: Hai.
A: Huuum... Amazing...
O: When those 3 "brothers" are put together, it becomes really good.
A: If you add garlic it becomes even more tasteful. Have you ever tried it?
O: I never tried.
A: That's really good. What else... Try adding various kinds of things, everything will match.
O: Hahaha!!
A: Curry powder, for example.
O: Curry powder?
A: Everything matches! Really delicious! So please, I would like you to try it.
O: Yes.
A: Hai! So let's start this week's Arashi! Aiba Masaki's Rekomen Arashi Remix!
A: Again... Konbanwa! It's Aiba Masaki from Arashi! This program is broadcasted to the national network, having Tokyo Hamamatsu's Bunka Housou as the key station.
A: Quickly, I would like to play tonight's first song.
A: So please listen, "Move your body" by Arashi.
.....Move your body.....
A: Yabai! Me ga juuketsu shiteru!
(Oh no! My eyes are red!)
O: Radio desu.
(Don't forget that this is a radio.)
A: Ah, that's true... Arashi・Aiba Masaki no Rekomen! Arashi Remix!
Do-S ba Masaki's Sermon Room!!
A: In my right hand, a whip! In my left hand, love! Sinners! Your name is young people. Do-S ba Masaki's job is to direct correctly that weak youth which makes young people to commit sins! Welcome to the do-S ba Masaki's Sermon Room!
A: The new corner is starting!
O: Finally it's starting.
A: I think I'll need energy for this!
O: Yes, you'll!
A: I think I'll spend a great amount of calories today! Can I truly get angry?
O: Yes!
A: Alright! It means that there are some people who want to be scolded!
O: Yes. And today we already received from those do-M people...
A: Hahaha!! Alright! M-san!
O: We received many.
A: So I'll change into a S-san... I'll!
O: Please, go ahead in do-S mode.
A: All right. So introduce the sinners of today!
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
O: Hai! Eee... The first sinner. Eee... We received this from Ibaragi-ken. radio name Mii-chan!
O: KonAiba! Something that I can't avoid even if I'm scolded to not to do, is the habit of sticking to someone. I always stick to the person that I like. Although it's something relatively cheap, if the person who I like says that he wants something, I'll gift it immediately. The other day, he was asking for my favourite game soft, and I couldn't help giving it to him. My friends always scold me, telling me to stop doing such thing, but if the person who I like looks happy, I can't resist giving a present. Aibachan, please scold me.
A: BAKAYAROO!!! Giving game soft??? Are you by any chance thinking that you're Takahashi Meijin???
O: Fufufu...
A: Hai! That's it! Although I understand her feeling of wanting to gift a game soft.
O: Although we understand...
A: Nee?? It's difficult to find my tension in this corner...
O: Hahaha!! But it's hard to find a so do-S Aiba-san.
A: Huuum...
O: I'm sure that she'll correct her habit.
A: Really?
O: Yes.
A: So should I go once again?
O: Yes.
A: Stop giving game soft!!!!! Are you thinking that you're Takahashi Meijin?
A: Hai... Let's continue...
O: Arigatou gozaimasu!
A: Hai...
O: Continuing... The next sinner.
A: Hai. Let's go.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
O: We received this from Fukuoka-ken, radio name "These muscles are gati gati!" san.
A: Hahahaha!!!
O: Aibachan konAiba! I'm writing this e-mail for the new topic. I always click my fingers and whatever joint of the body, like "poki poki". It became a habit and I can't stop doing it so easily. I'm always scolded by my parents. So Aibachan, please yell at me like "I don't like girls who do such thing!".
A: BAKAYAROO!!! What are thinking, to do "poki poki" with your joints?? Are you Giant?? (Giant is a character from Doraemon.)
O: Hahahaha!!
A: Either that, or are you a body re-adjusting specialist???
A: I think this one wasn't necessary, the last one...
O: Hahahaha!!
A: I should have stopped at "Giant"...
O: Hahaha!!
A: But I understand it! That she wants to do "poki poki".
O: But do you think it's normal to do it?
A: But it's said that if you do it, the joints of the fingers will become thicker.
O: Yes, it's said.
A: It's said, right?
O: Yes.
A: So if you think about it, you'll stop doing such thing.
O: I think so. Especially for girls.
A: Yes yes yes.
A: Well, let's continue...
O: Fufu! The next sinner is...
A: Hai!
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
O: We received this from Iwate-ken, radio name "Your mother seems to have an awkward navel" san.
A: Hahahaha!!
A: Aaah... I'm losing my will of scolding...
O: I would like to ask people to not send radio names that can affect the character.
A: Hahaha!! That was funny.
O: Aibachan konAiba!
A: KonAiba!
O: Since when I was a child, I have a habit that I can't stop even if the others keep calling my attention. Are you usually wearing socks before going to sleep? I'm too lazy of taking these socks to the washing machine, so I have the habit of accumulating them under the bed. My mother always scold me asking why there are less socks. In the beginning I was doing that because of my laziness, but now it became a habit. I really want to correct this habit, so do-S ba Masaki-san, scold me please.
A: BAKAYAROOO!!! It's only a few meters to the washing machine, and yet you feel lazy?? How many square metres does your house have?
O: Hahahaha!!
A: Is it so far to go to the washing machine?? Walk!! Walk!! Think of your health!
A: But I understand her situation.
O: Me too!
O: And also, those socks accumulated in the bedroom... If they're from 2 days before, it's possible to use them once again.
A: Hum... Maybe they won't be smelly.
O: Yes.
A: I understand her feeling. Maybe we feel that 2 or 3 meters seem to be about 200 meters.
O: I agree.
A: Do you?
O: Yes.
A: But I still think that it's better to correct this habit. Especially if it's the bedroom of a girl.
O: I think so.
A: Hum... I would like you to stop doing this.
A: Let's continue.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
O: Continuing! The next sinner is Yui-chan from Fukuoka-ken.
O: Aibachan konAiba!
A: KonAiba!
O: I have something that...
A: Wait a moment! I'm not "Aibachan" now, not during this corner. And I also should not answer.
O: You're right.
A: It's a little confusing because it's the first time. Let's repeat. Once again.
O: We received this from Yui-chan of Fukuoka-ken!
O: Do-S ba san! KonAiba! I have something that I can't stop doing. It is, to smell the feet. It's not stinky, but I can't help smelling. Do-S ba san, please scold me!
A: BAKAYAROOOOO!!! What are you thinking, to smell the feet?? Are you a foot sommelier???
A: Haaaaa..... (<--- so cute ^____^)
O: Hahahaha!!
A: Aaah... But I can understand it.
O: Me too.
